Mr Ozumba Tochukwu-Lawrence,a Nigerian man who resides in south Africa,was allegedly shot six times by an unknown gunman
The Nigerian Mission in South Africa condemmed the killing,this was made known by the Consul-General of Nigeria in South Africa,The vice consul,information and culture,Mr Abraham David,who in his statement expressed his grief over the ugly incident.
However,A witness briefly explained that the assasilant came into Ozumba Tochukwu’s compound at 10 Koppe,Middleburg,Mpumalanga,South Africa on july 6,and requested to see Mr Tochukwu,and when he came out to see his visitor,the unknown man shot him six times and left.
Tochukwu died on his way to the hospital,as a result of the gun shot wounds.the reasons behind his murder are still unknown to everybody.The consulate sympathized with the family of the deceased,and other Nigerians in South Africa.
Abraham,assured that the consulate has called on the South African authorities to unravel the reason behind the assasination,and that efforts will be made to apprehend the killer and be made to pay for his crime.
