Russia 2018:Nigerians Spends $1.9b To Support Super Eagles At The 2018 World Cup.

The 2018 FIFA world cup,hosted in Russia on June 14-July 15,with the games played in 11 cities of the country has finally come to an end.

The Mayor Sergei Sobyanin’s speech at the Moscow uban forum revealed on Tuesday holds that:

“A Total of 3.8 million fans visited the world cup,$1.5b were spent in Moscow”

“As for the expenses on sports infranstructure,we didnt make any special preparations for the world cup in the city except for the Luzhniki Stadium which was renovated to meet FIFA standards”

However,this can be deduced that Football Fans,especially Nigerians who visited the 2018 FIFA World Cup In Russia spent $1.5b in the Russia Capital.
