Two Nigerians Granted 106 Years Jail Term By South African Government For Human Trafficking


Two South African based Nigerians has recently been given a life sentence and an additional 106 years of imprisonment by the South Gauteng High Court in South Africa for Human Trafficking.

The suspects identified as Ilo promise somadina(25) and Frank Amaku(26) were arrested in April 2016 by a serious organised crime investigation unit(Hawks) at a brothel in fourways where five victims held captive by the duo were released and taken a safe place.

The National Head of the Directorate for priority crime investigation,Lieutenant General Godfrey Lebeya, while applauding the team for a job well done also added that

“The sentence couldn’t have come at a better time, taking into consideration that August is celebrated as Women’s Month in South Africa.
