The Deputy governor of Zamfara State, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala,has on Tuesday in Gusau,annouced that the government had declared the reduction of work hours from 12 noon to 4pm for Wednesday and Thursday for it’s workers and also Friday 1st September a work free day to enable voters pick up their permanent voters card (PVC).
Wakkala, further stated that the state government has decided to encourage the eligible voters register and pick up their voters card since the dead line is September 1st.
“As good citizens, for us to exercise our civic rights, we must get the PVCs. This would enable us to elect leaders of our choice in the forthcoming 2019 general elections and beyond.
“Therefore it becomes a compulsory duty for us to participate effectively in this exercise,” Wakkala said.
