Bukola Saraki Explains Why He Didn’t Honour The Police Invitation.

The Senate President Bukola Saraki, gave insight,why he didn’t honour the police invitation.

Saraki openly  acknowledged the letter sent to him by the Nigerian police on Monday.

Saraki,through his special adviser,Media and Publicity Yusuf Olaniyonu,confirmed that all the questions and issues,raised by the Nigerian police, in its invitation, were answered in a letter which  was dispatched on Tuesday to the Nigerian Police.

He Further added that,He saw no need for  a physical visitation to the police,since all questions and issues had been addressed in his letter to them.

Saraki described  the invitation of the police As tool which was primarily designed to achieve political purpose,and also to compel him and his associates to continue to mingle with the APC. He further described it as..

“This plot aimed at compelling me and my associates to stay in a party where members are criminalised without just cause, where injustice is perpetrated at the highest level and where there is no respect for constitutionalism is an exercise in futility and it will fail.”

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris,had on Monday invited the Senate President Bukola Saraki,to appear before the Special Anti Robbery unit at Guzape, to answer few questions over his involvement in the Offa Bank robbery .
